Instances of triple talaq are being frequently reported in recent times across the country despite the fact that the apex court has banned instant triple talaq. The latest report of instant triple talaq comes from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
A man in Amethi’s Jagdishpur is accused of giving triple talaq to his wife after she refused to pay him Rs. 5 lakh. Parveen Bano filed a case with the police on Monday alleging that her husband gave triple talaq over her refusal to pay Rs 5 lakh. She also alleged that her husband physically abused and forced her to leave the house. Attempts were made to set her ablaze. Additional superintendent of police said based on the complaint filed by the woman, a case has been registered against her husband Mohammad Alam.

1) A man gave triple talaq to his wife over the phone over for not getting a Swift car in Haryana’s Punhana. Bichhor police have started a probe based on the complaint of the woman after registering a case of triple talaq and dowry harassment.
2) In Uttar Pradesh’s civil lines police jurisdiction, a man divorced his wife using the triple talaq method because she didn’t fulfill his dowry and later posted a porn video of his wife and made it viral. A complaint was filed against the man based on the woman’s complaint and the investigation is undergoing.
3) Despite a law against triple talaq having been enacted in the country, the custom to give triple talaq continues as the latest case from the Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh indicates. A woman was harassed and beaten up by her in-laws for not meeting their demand of buffalo as dowry. Her husband also gave her triple talaq and drove her out of the house along with her child. The victim has filed a complaint with the SSP office requesting action against her husband.
The brazenness with which Islamists continue to disregard laws passed by the parliament and approved by the highest court of the country indicates how Muslim society has been conditioned and brainwashed by its maulvis and mullahs who continue to wield undue influence over the Muslim society at large. Additionally, feminist groups (feminazis to be precise) who never tire of accusing Hindus of being ‘patriarchial’ almost always look away from the plight of Muslim women.
