In a shocking incident from Uttarakhand, a minor 8-year-old Hindu girl was first forced to watch porn and then raped by 5 minor Muslim boys aged 9 to 14. The police said the girl was lured with a chocolate to the house of one of the accused as the boys planned the rape.
The incident occurred on Friday in a village in Sahaspur police station area, around 25 km from Dehradun. The 5 juveniles have been arrested.
English media like Hindustan Times has also reported the incident, but omitted certain details.
On Friday, 13 July, the girl was playing outside her house while her parents were not at home – her father had gone for work and mother had gone to gather fodder for livestock – when the 5 lured her by promising to give a toffee.
Sahaspur station house officer Narendra Rathore said the five, according to their plan, took her to the house of the 10-year-old accused when his family members were out for work. First, all 5 watched a porn clip on a mobile and also forced the minor girl to watch. Then, one of them stood guard at the house’s main door while the others raped her.
“While they were committing the crime, one of them saw the elder brother of the 10-year-old accused coming towards the house,” said Rathore. He said they then asked the girl to go home.
The traumatised girl stopped speaking after returning home. She did not eat food that night, but her parents thought maybe she was unwell and just needed to rest. But when she refused to eat on Saturday too, they grew concerned and her mother coaxed her to open up. Finally, she broke down and narrated her ordeal. Her shocked parents and family members approached police on Saturday evening to lodge a complaint of gang-rape and under relevant sections of POCSO Act.
Being a Sunday, police said that the girl’s medical would be done on Monday. “A case has been registered against the five accused and all of them will be produced before a juvenile court on Monday,” said Rathore. He said they have seized the mobile phone on which the boys watched porn.
Police have deployed additional security in the village as the case involves two different communities.
HinduPost Note
It is a harsh truth that this case will not get a fraction of the attention that MSM gave to, say, the Kathua case or the Unnao rape case.
This horrific crime raises two important questions that every self-appointed liberal in this country is loathe to discuss.
- The rapid mainstreaming of porn in various variants (soft, hard etc), sexual commodification of women in mass media & Bollywood (now we even have a biopic glorifying porn star Sunny Leone which is being passionately defended by Times of India columnists) and normalization of stand-up comedians who wonder whether “children don’t love rape.”
- The indoctrination of young Muslim boys with Islamist ideas of kafirs (non-Muslims, especially ‘idol-worhsippers’ like Hindus) being inferior, hell-bound creatures, whose girls/women are legitimate sexual targets. When Sufis associated with the Ajmer dargah could carry out something as horrific as the Ajmer rape/blackmail saga, we can only imagine the damage inflicted by fanatic teachings of Islam sects like Deobandi, Salafi, Wahabbi, Ahl-e-Hadith etc which are sweeping unhindred across the country, especially in the volatile West UP/South Uttrakhand belt. The calculated nature of the crime, with the minors having planned the rape of this innocent girl raises troubling questions too – why did the boys decide to target this particular 8-year-old who likely stayed a fair distance away from them? Did they believe it was ok to target the girl because she was the ‘other’, i.e. a Hindu? It is highly likely that at least a few of the accused boy’s were attending one of the many madrasas that have mushroomed in that part of Uttarakhand in the last decade. Will we bother to investigate what is really taught in those madrasas, instead of accepting at face-value the sanitized version dished out by apologists?
The time for political correctness is long gone. A society that can’t defend its children has no tomorrow.
