2-Year-Old Tinkle Sharma’s Mother & Aunt Plead for Justice

As Hindu Post readers may be aware (in spite of the best efforts of national mainstream media), 2 year old toddler Tinkle Sharma was abducted, probably raped & tortured, and mutilated by her 2 neighbors Mohammed Zahid and Aslam, and then her mutilated body dumped in a garbage bin. The body was discovered because a pack of stray dogs started gathering at the garbage bin (attracted by the decomposing body), and local people looked to see what was in the bin.

Gory details are emerging. Her limb was chopped off. Her eyes were gouged out (this was reported by Hindustan Times today). It is strongly suspected that she was also raped (a forensic report on this is awaited, but due to the state of the body, it may be impossible to establish this).

Of course, no one is rushing to return their awards. I have not seen Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor with placards. No one is ashamed of being Indian. And there are no candles visible anywhere in the evening. The usual liberal media is hardly devoting any airtime to this tragedy.

Twinkle Sharma’s grieving mother Shilpa Sharma has beseeched PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath to severely punish the accused. “We want death penalty for him. Otherwise if he comes out after 7 years, he will be emboldened even more,” she told ANI. She also said that Aslam (co-accused) had raped his own 4-year-old daughter, after which his wife took their daughter that day itself and left for her parents’ home.

2-year-old Tinkle Sharma’s mother (left) and aunt (right) plead for justice.

A relative of Tinkle, possibly her bua (paternal aunt), can be seen in this video, appealing for justice. She asks what any aunt would: justice for Tinkle. Sobbing with grief, she pleads with folded hands that the man who tortured their child to death should be given the same treatment.

Will Bharat give justice to this grieving family?

Do not believe in birth-based "caste" but rather varna based on swadharma and swabhava, and personal commitment to that varna's dharmas. I don't judge people by the religion they profess: every human being should be treated with equal dignity. At the same time, I don't judge a religion by the people I know who profess it. A religion, like any doctrine, should be subjected to critical examination using facts and reason.
