Islamists attack Priyanka Chopra for Instagram post supporting Iranian women protesting against hijab

Bollywood actress and popular Hollywood personality Priyanka Chopra, infamous for her anti-Hindu and hyper-liberal antics, has recently attacked massive online flak from Islamist “followers”. While most of Bollywood has steered clear from commenting on the ongoing movement of Iranian women, Priyanka Chopra tried to test the Islamist waters. She took to her social media handle and extended support to the women in Iran struggling against the Hijab mandate.

In the lengthy post, she wrote, “Women in Iran and around the world are standing up and raising their voices, publicly cutting their hair and many other forms of protest for Mahsa Amini, whose young life was taken away so brutally by the Iranian Morality Police for wearing her hijab ‘improperly’. The voices that speak after ages of forced silence, will rightfully burst like a volcano! And they will not and MUST not be stemmed.”

She added, “I am in awe of your courage and purpose. It is not easy to risk your life, literally, to challenge the patriarchal establishment and fight for your rights. But, you are courageous women doing this every day regardless of the cost to yourselves. To ensure that this movement will have a lasting effect, we must hear their call, understand the issues and then join in with our collective voices.”

The actress’ post didn’t sit well with the Islamists on Instagram, who flocked to the comment section of her post to spew their misogynistic fundamentalist hate. “I appreciate this post but also point out your hypocrisy for not extending the same supportive voice to Hijabi women from your own country who are being harassed by your country’s government for their freedom of choice and being forbidden from taking exams because of their Hijab. Can you stand up for them too? Can’t probably”, observed one Instagram user.

Another user named Amina Zamaan also compared mangoes and oranges by equating the situation in Iran and Bharat. While the fringe issue in Bharat stands no comparison to the violence in Iran, she wrote, “Why didn’t you say anything when women were brutally treated in India, France, and Germany who wanted to wear Hijab? It’s everyone’s own choice. Why just show support when they don’t want to wear Hijab? Is it really about rights or agendas?”

Ayeshathepenguin demanded that Priyanka speak about the pro-Hijab propaganda, which the Supreme Court is already hearing. “Why didn’t you say anything when women who were brutally treated in India, France, and Germany wanted to wear Hijab? It’s everyone’s own choice. Why just show support when they don’t want to wear Hijab? Is it really about rights or agendas?” she said.

Many other similar handles claimed to be Muslim women in Bharat and were seen crying victims. Now victim-crying comes to Islamists quite naturally and across generations and ages. Hence, Munira Amjad’s dramatic rant on Instagram, as though Muslim women in this country were being killed for wearing the Hijab came off as a joke, despite the desperate attempt at evoking sympathy.

True to her nature, Rana Ayyub also attacked Priyanka Chopra for her alleged “selective activism.”

As we all know by now, Priyanka Chopra is no enemy of the Islamists. She plays “best friends” with Islamist to the core alleged Pakistani activist, Malala Yusufzai. Through her Hollywood series, Quantico, she made a failed attempt to project Pakistanis as innocent and Bharatiya Hindus with a rudraksha mala as a terrorist.

Priyanka has served Muslims multiple times. She has visited Muslim refugees from Syria in Jordan as a goodwill ambassador. She also flew to Bangladesh to see children in Rohingya refugee camps, covering her head in Hijab. However, she has never been to a Hindu refugee camp or visited kids of Hindus from Pakistan.

In one of her messages before Diwali, she claimed that she was an asthma patient and that people like her Hindus should reconsider bursting crackers. However, her claims remain questionable as she had put a spectacle of fireworks at her wedding and was photographed smoking a cigar.

Priyanka Chopra became the target of Islamist wrath despite pandering to the Muslim community for so long and safely distancing herself away from the Hindu cause. The online attack on the Bollywood actress shows that a Kaffir is never acceptable to the Islamists, no matter how much love they shower publicly on them. Others in the industry were aware of the radical nature of this ilk and hence chose to stay indifferent to the Iranian women crisis.
