Amitabh Bachchan and family contract Covid-19, left-liberals spew venom

While it cannot be denied that there must be some good people within Bharat’s left-liberal community with good intentions at heart, sadly their tribe has now come to be defined by venomous, twisted minds.

When news came on Saturday about legendary Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and his actor son Abhishek testing positive for the Covid-19 pandemic, wishes for their speedy recovery poured in from across the country. The veteran actor, fondly known as Big B, is loved by millions and admired for his acting skills, poise, and professionalism in the film industry.

But for Bharat’s spiteful left-liberals his acting skills are meaningless. They hate him for the same reason they hate so many others – first because Amitabh is not apologetic about his Hindu identity, and second because he has refused to partake in the BJP-RSS-Hindutva bashing that is considered the norm for all ‘creative types’.

Still, if someone gets infected with a pandemic disease, basic humanity would dictate that you put your personal politics aside and commiserate with the afflicted person. Or if that’s too much to ask, just keep quiet. But humanity is the last thing one can expect from our arrogant, bigoted, punch-drunk on self-righteousness left-liberals.

Let’s sample some of the shocking tweets directed at a 77-year-old, merely because he and family are not ashamed of being Hindu and he refuses to endorse the left-liberal worldview.

Slander is one of the favorite tools of the desi liberal. Zainab Sikander, one of the bevy of new-age ‘journalists’ groomed at Shekhar Gupta’s The Print, decided this was the right time to gossip about the actor’s personal life. The same lady was earlier caught cheering when a Hindi news channel editor was assaulted by Islamists at the anti-CAA Shaheen Bagh protest, and spreading propaganda against Article 370 abrogation.

On 3rd April, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted that as a beneficiary of homeopathy he was encouraged to see the AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) ministry efforts to counter Corona. He further prayed that Bharat leads the world in finding preventive and curative solutions to such epidemics.

Like vultures, these blue-ticked handles (Pratik Sinha of ‘fact-checker’ Alt News, The Wire journalist Arfa Khanum, and ‘health journalist’ Vidya Krishnan) swooped down just when the man is at his most vulnerable, to chide and mock him for ‘peddling homeopathy for coronavirus’. But where did Bachchan claim that homeopathy can cure coronavirus? If he had past good experience with homeopathic treatment, can’t he even share that? For that matter, even the AYUSH ministry never claimed that they have a remedy for the disease – they have only recommended some immunity boosters from a host of alternative medicine practices.

Ayurveda, in particular, comprises of treatments (using mostly organic ingredients like herbs) that have proven effective over millennia. Sure, there will be quacks, just like there are in allopathy, but who in his right mind today can say that allopathy is also not without burning issues such as big pharma manipulation, drug side-effects etc.

For the record, Homeopathy was invented by a German. As per a 1997 European Union report, 29% of Europeans used homeopathic medicines. Germany gives homeopathy a privileged legal status –  whereas other medicines must meet scientific criteria, homeopathic remedies need not, and health insurers are explicitly allowed to reimburse for their use.

So shouldn’t our Anglicized left-liberals first go ‘civilize’ the Europeans about ‘homeopathic quackery’ before turning their attention on us Bharatiyas? But then, one doesn’t kick the hand that feeds, and where would our liberals be without the Western money that funds their lifestyles?

Vidya Krishnan, a so-called health journalist who writes for vitriolic anti-Hindu outlets like Caravan, The Hindu, was frothing with rage after she found out the Mumbai municipality was disinfecting the Bachchan house, never mind that it’s a standard procedure followed whenever Covid-19 cases are found.

Aakar Patel, the hateful bigot who even today gets space to spew his anti-Hindu venom and absurd theories in our mainstream newspapers, decided to bash not just Amitabh Bachchan but Sachin Tendulkar and Akshay Kumar as well. The hate for the middle-class Hindu is so visceral among our left-liberals that anyone or anything which Hindus hold dear becomes an object of hate for them.

Another ugly reality is that the left-liberal gang is an enabler, knowingly or otherwise, of radical Islam. Contempt and disdain for Hindus is something they share with those who are openly Islamist. This tweet by a Pakistani-American sums up the Islamist view of Amitabh Bachchan and all practising Hindus:

It has now come to light that even Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya and their little daughter Aaradhya have tested positive for Coronavirus. We wish the Bachchan family and all those in the city of Mumbai who are battling the pandemic, a speedy recovery.

Amitabh Bachchan and family
Big B with his family; is this open practice of Hindu Dharma the real reason for left-liberals’ shocking bigotry?

As for our left-liberals, they are beyond redemption. There is no dialogue or reasoning that can detoxify this set. They must be fought tooth and nail, and if needed by using the very tools and rulebook devised by them to be used against us.
