The jubilatory celebrations that broke out in Kashmir and other minority-dominated pockets of the country after Bharat’s T20 loss to Pakistan have served as another wake-up call for the country. The dangerous fundamentalist Islamic theology which our secular state has allowed to spread unchecked continues to brainwash and create dangerous Islamists.

Not mincing words, J&K Police Officer Imtiyaz Hussain, tweeted “It’s not just simple support for some cricket team, it’s a deep rot within. The least one can do is cease to be a beneficiary of the hard-earned money of 130 Crore people. That’s the moral thing to do. Nothing else adds up. Jai Hind”

There are reports that Kashmir students indulged the victory celebrations after Pakistan defeated Bharat in the T20 World. In fact several Muslim-dominated areas across Bharat saw crackers being burst. Students of SKIMS Medical College, Srinagar were also seen celebrating Bharat’s defeat in the T20 match.

Interestingly, even as crackers are being banned ahead of the Hindu festival of Deepavali and the apex court has justified the ban stating its primary concern is to protect “the right to life of innocent people”, there seems to be no objection to celebrating Pakistan’s victory by bursting crackers. Will the supreme court take suo moto cognizance of this violation of cracker ban?

These are doctors-to-be who are receiving education in government institutions that are run with tax payers’ money. It is an established fact that the lion’s share of this tax is paid by Hindus, and it is a disaster that it is being spent to educate those who are cheering for this country’s defeat. Can any Bharatiya trust these traitors with their lives in a couple of years after they become doctors?

As Journalist Sudhir Chaudhary rightly highlighted these are students who are not just carrying Bharatiya passport but are also receiving scholarships and other facilities financed by the country’s taxpayers. Furthermore, they would be employed in hospitals in Bharat. Essentially while they are living off Bharat’s money they are cheering for Pakistan that has been sponsoring terrorist acts in Bharat.

Islamist agenda on display

As much as the mainstream media (MSM) would like to paint this as ‘students’ celebrating Pak victory in the ‘spirit of sportsmanship’, this is far from the truth. As Hussain has hinted in his tweet there is a section of Islamist hardliners who are running anti-Bharat propaganda from within the country.

No amount of whitewashing can take away the fact that Islamists in Bharat truly believe that the global Muslim brotherhood is more important than nationalism. For them and their brainwashed followers, victory of Pakistan over Bharat, even if it is just on the cricket field, truly represents victory of Islam over ‘kafir’ Hindus.

Sane voices like Hussain who raise objections to Islamist separatist attitudes being fostered never find space in MSM that is obsessed with the likes of Owaisi, Badruddin Ajmal, and Mehbooba Mufti among others. Mufti was even seen justifying the act of cheering Pakistan while equating it with celebrations across the country after the abrogation of Article 370 even though the two are incomparable.

Ghazwa-e-Hind is a long-standing goal of not just the neighboring Islamic nations but Islamists in Bharat as well. Islamists use every available opportunity to push that agenda therefore even a sports victory is construed as victory of Islam over Hindu Dharma.

As already pointed out earlier ‘students’ cheering for Pakistan are living off Bharatiya tax-payers’ money. Therefore, it is only fair that sedition charges be applied against those cheering Pakistan as UP CM Yogi Adityanath recently declared.

There is a need to amplify sane voices like Jammu & Kashmir police officer Hussain rather than allowing separatists to peddle their agenda.
