In a major incident of illegal religious conversion, Rajan Sahay, originally from Etawah and now residing in Rahimabad village on the western side of the city, has been exposed for orchestrating a covert mass Christianity conversion event. As per Jagran, on 13th July, Sunday night, he organized a so-called prayer meeting that was nothing short of a systematic attempt to convert Hindus. Around 100 individuals were present, of whom 58 had already been converted, while 40 others were in the process of being forcibly converted to Christianity.
However, the alert and vigilant local Hindu community, upon learning about this anti-Hindu agenda, acted swiftly and reached the spot. Their intervention halted the prayer event midway, effectively stopping the conversion attempt. Sensing the resistance, about 30 of the accused fled the scene, while 10 remained and were calmed down by the locals.
Thanks to the timely and firm response of the Hindu community, 59 individuals, including Rajan Sahay and others involved in the conversion activities, were confronted and sent back to their homes. A formal complaint has now been submitted to both the police commissioner and the district magistrate, demanding strict action against the culprits.
Authorities have launched an investigation, and a larger campaign is being planned to bring back those Hindus who were earlier converted under similar deceitful tactics. A list of such individuals will be prepared, and every effort will be made to reconnect them with their original Dharma.
Community leaders have called for a comprehensive crackdown on such deceitful Christian missionary activities. A plan is now underway to identify the 58 individuals who have already converted, and efforts will be made for their ghar wapsi.
The Christian conversion network is operating aggressively in states like Chhattisgarh, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh, where they specifically target economically weaker sections, Scheduled Castes, and tribal communities. Under the false guise of providing monetary aid, education, and healthcare, these groups are systematically luring innocent people into religious conversion. These so-called welfare activities are nothing but a cover for a deeply rooted agenda of religious manipulation.
What is even more alarming is that these activities continue unabated despite the existence of anti-conversion laws in many of these states. The conversion mafia operates fearlessly and, in many places, remains unchecked due to political apathy or silent support.
It is time for the followers of Hindu Dharma to remain vigilant, united, and proactive in resisting these deceitful tactics from Christian and Islamic institutions.
