Intelligence reports find money laundering and terrorism links to mushrooming food carts in coastal Kerala

Kerala has seen an explosion of small catering trucks that have sprung up recently. Most of these are located in coastal areas. Media reports suggest that these shops are terror fronts and that the Central Intelligence Bureau (IB) has warned the local police about the same.

During the corona lockdown, there were reports about arms and money being smuggled by Islamists using ambulances. Based on this, the investigation led to surveillance of the shops in the coastal areas. IB now suspects that those behind the expansion of these shops are linked to terrorist organizations.

Their investigations reportedly revealed that terrorists used these shops to launder black money. It is learned that counterfeit notes are being smuggled through this route. These innocent-looking food carts on wheels are being used to store money and weapons and transport them from place to place.

After the lockdowns were eased, investigators found that the terrorists had changed tactics and had ditched their ambulances. They found an increase in private luxury vehicles plying between Kovalam near Thiruvananthapuram and Mangaluru on the Karnataka border. Intelligence suspected that nefarious elements used these vehicles to transport arms and cash to various districts in Kerala. In 2020, Kerala police arrested 2 Muslim men for selling luxurious vehicles to terrorist outfits.

Suspiciously, these vehicles move only at night and are seen parked near these street vending shops. The occupants linger around these shops and suddenly disappear. Another concern is that these food carts have come up in desolated areas along the beach that visitors seldom reach.

Earlier, it was reported that particular shopping malls in Kochi were being turned into terrorist hideouts. Out of the 20,000 odd workers, 15,000 were male jihadi radical elements, and the rest were Hindu ladies. Grooming jihad is allegedly rampant in these malls. Many were employed through recruitment agencies and some directly.

These Islamists work in the malls and live in hostels in and around the vicinity. It is feared that this is also from where the Popular Front of India terrorists were able to arrange workers for massive demonstrations within minutes. They gathered fast during the CAA violence and when PFI terrorists got killed.

The intelligence services noticed the presence of a mall in Kochi during the anti-national protests. The state police have confirmed that there are sleeper cells of terrorist organizations based in Kochi.

The whole inquiry began when the intelligence agents suspected that there was a possibility of an increase in terrorist activities in Kerala. They have been proven correct. Recent history also shows that the PFI sponsors terrorists all over Bharat. Kerala is now the financial capital of terrorism in Bharat. Intelligence agencies fear that more anti-national activities are on the way.

Mainstream media obsessed with BJP suspending Nupur Sharma failed to report the severe anti-national incidents closer to home. There are also allegations that Qatar is a significant contributor to terrorists trying to create havoc in Kerala.
