Hindu girl of West Bengal went to Bangladesh illegally to marry Masud, fell in love through Facebook

A case of cross-border Love Jihad has been witnessed where a Hindu girl of West Bengal went to Bangladesh illegally to marry her boyfriend Masud.

As per the reports, Masud is a resident of Sapahar Upazila of the Naogaon district of Bangladesh. A few years ago, Masud befriended a Hindu girl of West Bengal on Facebook. Eventually, they fell in love. Later, Masud illegally came to Bharat and worked here for some months. During that time, Masud and the girl developed intimate relationship. Recently, they decided to marry. But, due to the unavailability of visa, Masud couldn’t come to Bharat. So, the girl decided to go to Bangladesh to marry Masud.

According to a published report in Bangladeshi media Rtv, the girl has been identified as Nupur Sarkar. Nupur Sarkar(16) is a resident of the Maldah district of West Bengal. She is a resident of Kashempur village under the jurisdiction of Bamangola Police Station of the Maldah district. On the evening of 28th May, she entered Bangladesh illegally through the Bharat-Bangladesh International borders. Her Bangladeshi boyfriend Masud received her and took her home.

But, as the news of a Bharatia girl in the village, hundreds of people gathered to see her. Many youths uploaded a video of her on Facebook.

Meanwhile, the Police reached there. The police earlier told the girl to return, but she was determined to marry her boyfriend Masud. Later, she was arrested by the Police for illegally entering Bangladesh.
