Did Jaleel promise to behead Bishop Pamplany for backing BJP?

Recently, controversial jihadi/communist MLA from Kerala KT Jaleel openly incited his supporters to behead Thalassery archbishop Mar Joseph Pamplany. The Christian priest wanted a minimum support price (MSP) of Rs.300 for a kilo of rubber from the central government. In return, Pamplany promised the BJP a Member of Parliament from Kerala.

Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) and Congress leaders, including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, criticized and ridiculed Pamplany’s comments. Jaleel went a step further and issued death threats on his FaceBook page. He openly incited his jihadi supporters and threatened to behead anyone who went to accept the Rs.300 provided by the BJP. As yet, the central government has not promised anything.

Jaleel knows that the BJP does not give MSP to farmers, but the central government does. Christians understood that Jaleel’s decapitation comments were a warning to their whole community and wanted him behind bars.

History of Islamic Terrorism and Transition to Communism

Jaleel has a history of Islamic terrorism. He attended Islahiya College, run by Jamaat-e-Islami (JEI) at Chennamangaloor, Kozhikode, and entered active politics through JEI’s student wing, the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). Jaleel contested the college union chairman poll as a SIMI candidate in 1988 but lost.

(The SIMI was banned in 2001, following the September 11 attacks in America. That restriction did not prevent the same extremist Islamists from joining hands with other radical groups, and the same leaders formed the even more dangerous Popular Front of India (PFI). Pfi was banned in September 2022.)

Soon, Jaleel joined Muslim Students Federation (MSF), Indian Union Muslim League’s (IUML) students unit, and became the college Union Chairman. Soon, he earned a doctorate by whitewashing Islamist crimes in Malabar. His Ph.D. from Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram, came for the topic “Role of Variyamkunnath Kunjahammed Haji and Ali Musliyar in the Malabar Rebellion of 1921”.

Currently, ‘Dr.’ K T Jaleel is an Associate Professor at Pocker Sahib Memorial Orphanage College (PSMO) College, Tirurangadi, where he poisons young minds teaching ‘history.’

In 2005, Jaleel was expelled from IUML and joined hands with the Communists. He won general election after election thanks to his oratory skills and radical Islamist ideologies. He always contested seats in 75% Muslim Malappuram, which helped his cause. His presence helped the communists gain a foothold in the district, and though Jaleel never accepted a CPM membership, the evil alliance continued.

Present Politics

Jaleel is brilliant and dedicated to his radical ideologies. Currently, the Islamist is Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s lieutenant. It must be assumed that the death threats against Bishop Pamplany were made with Vijayan’s full knowledge and approval.

Jaleel has issued a death fatwa against the Christian priest and used the same language as terror outfits like the PFI and ISIS. Local Christians are up in arms against his radical comments, and the situation is volatile. Any delay in legal action against the jihadi MLA might end in disaster.

Kerala BJP President K Surendran demanded that Jaleel be arrested immediately. In the current scenario of radical Islamist appeasement politics adopted by the ruling communist regime, Jaleel’s detention seems highly unlikely.

This is not the first time a Christian religious leader (in this case, Pamplany) has made political statements. As citizens, religious community leaders have the freedom and right to express support for any leader, political party, or front of their choice. Kerala Christians are ‘vote banks’ and elect their leaders collectively. Both CPM and Congress have received this support alternately and happily accepted it.

It is well known that the Church plays a vital role in areas where Christians dominate. This is precisely what has triggered fear among both Marxists and their B Team in Kerala, Congress. Districts like Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, and, more importantly, Wayanad will go the BJP way with Christian support. These districts have a sizeable Christian population.

Come elections, politicians have made a beeline to religious leaders without hesitation in search of support. So, no one should be offended if any spiritual leader says they support the BJP. Freedom of speech and the right to vote are promised to citizens by the Constitution. Is this Afghanistan to behead someone who supports the nationalist BJP?

This is not the first time that the Christian leadership of the country has taken a stand in favor of the BJP. The BJP or a BJP-led front rules Christian-majority Goa and the entire northeastern states. Christians have consistently supported the BJP, not in any one election but in successive local government, assembly, and parliamentary elections.

Christians support the BJP by rejecting decades-old propaganda that the Sangh Parivar is anti-minority. The BJP does not inflame communalism as other parties do, but by allowing adequate representation, acknowledging reasonable demands, and ensuring development results. This support is increasing with each election. Those who resent are enemies of development and, above all, democracy.

The CPM does not have the authority to dictate terms to minorities. They are allowed to vote for a party ruling Bharat for nine years. CPM and Congress think that minorities in Kerala should always support them. The position that they should not support BJP is absurd.

Opposition to Christian churches is the hallmark of Vijayan’s politics. He is the one who called Thamarassery Bishop a ‘wretched creature who lies.’ The CPM’s policy is to reject Christian leadership to gain the support of Islamic fundamentalists. The communist rant against Pala Bishop, who highlighted narcotic/grooming jihad, is more proof of the same. Thalassery is in Vijayan’s stronghold of the Kannur district.

Jaleel has pending court cases for going to Kashmir and posting anti-national ‘Azad Kashmir’ comments on FaceBook. Some within his community doubt Jaleel since he is accused of smuggling gold using Qurans. He was a minister in the previous Vijayan regime but was ousted by the Lokayukta for nepotism. Legal action should not be delayed against him for issuing a death fatwa against the Christian priest.

Local Christians also ask what recently ousted Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi has done for his constituency. He remained a casual tourist to the district that elected him to the Lok Sabha. It is believed that Pamplany read between the lines and acted wisely.

Incidentally, neither Jaleel nor Pamplany can assure BJP an MP from Kerala as long as Abrahamics and communist Hindus In Name Only (HINOs) vote for the Congress and its B Team in Delhi, the CPM.
