The reality of ‘secular’ Bharat – Part 1

Secular Uttar Pradesh – Communal clashes: 2016 – 97, 2015 – 55, 2014 – 64, 2013 – 51 and

2017 – 14 (under communal BJP).

Secular Kerala – Padmanabhaswamy asset base $13 Billion to be controlled by Varma family (contested and compromised) and local and state government.

Secular Andhra Pradesh – Tirupati Temple asset base $1.6 Billion in cash, 9.2 tons gold, vast land holdings controlled by Govt. Used for state’s expenditure. Not only is the temple money taken by Govt for public schemes, it is also pooled with tax money to create subsidies for minorities to travel to Bethlehem – by CM YSR.

He also gave taxpayer funds to Christian Orgs for refurbishing Churches. Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple at Simhachalam, a 300 yr old temple was so inefficiently managed that the donated cows that they could not manage, were auctioned to slaughterhouses because temple authorities were not able to care for them despite receiving crores of Rs. 2012 – 3 TTD Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam) employees were taken into custody for carrying out proselytization activities.

May 2020 TTD trust faced allegations that it was selling off 23 land holdings ti its own cronies. TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy said 129 properties owned by trust had been divested since 1974. Jagan Reddy increased travel doles for Christian pilgrims.

YSR Congress manifesto fulfilled- plots and house construction for pastors, financial assistance of 1 Lakh for wedding of Christian girls. Secular Telangana- Muslims reservation in education and employment tripled. WAQF Board promised judicial powers.

Secular WB – Provisioned monthly allowance for Muslim clerics and imams in April 2012 costing state Govt Rs 126 Crores Per year. The govt also sanctioned Rs 298 Crore to Aliah University, a minority oriented university under MA&ME department, created by ‘secular’ Communist let Left Frotn Govt in 2007. It has 98% Muslims in a state with 27% Muslim population.

6 industrial training institute and 6 polytechnic colleges exclusively for Muslims. Yet they have reservations. TMC was against the pro-women rights bill to end Triple Talaq, a practice outlawed in even Muslim-majority counties. Secular Karnataka- Housing schemes, education scholarships, financial assistance for girl’s marriages – all for minority community.

Muzrai Dept issued public notice inviting suggestions from stakeholders to bring Hindu mutts, temples and religious institutions under Karnataka Religions Institutions and Charitable Act, 1997. Minority institutions officers untouched.

Tipu Sultan, a tyrant who destroyed Hindu temples and murdered 1000s of innocents celebrated by Siddaramaiah Govt. Secular Kerala- in 2018 the executive committee of Travencore Devaswom Board decided to dismantle Veda school and convert it into non-veg, beef-serving restaurant.
