“Rajasthan: Imran attacked a 65-year-old Hindu man saying, “Have come from Masjid and will chop your head”, Organiser, June 8, 2023:

“A 65-year-old man has been admitted to the hospital after one Imrana attacked him in Rajasthan’s Jaipur for no genuine reason. The victim sustained severe head injuries. The family and the villagers said the people from the Mosque sent him, as after the attack the accused repeated, “Masjid ne bheja hai..sir kaat dunga..”

A First Information Report (number–140/2023) has been registered in the case at Kaladera police station of the Jaipur district on June 3. Following the complaint the accused was arrested by the police.

In his complaint letter, Motiram Sharma told the police that, on June 3 like every day he opened his tea shop in the Kaladera Mandi area. Around 7:30 am his father Ram Lal Sharma arrived at the shop and grabbed a cup of tea. All of a sudden Imran son of Rahat Hussain came out of the mosque carrying Halwai Palta (big spatula) with which he started attacking Ram Lal….”
