Pracharam launches interesting Dharmic learning tools for kids

Hindu parents today face difficulties in introducing Dharma to kids. Pracharam has developed an innovative and exciting solution to ensure children learn Hindu Dharma.

The Bhakti box is the latest tool of Pracharam that contains comic books, coloring and activity sheets, a face mask, a key chain, and shloka sheets, among others. Hanuman and Godha (Andal) Bhakti boxes are available at present. These thematic kit boxes are an exciting way to take kids closer to Dharma.

Hindu parenting is faced with several challenges today. The shift from joint to nuclear families has left a void as children no longer receive guidance from their grandparents. Grandparents brought Dharma alive by narrating stories from our Itihasas (Ramayana and Mahabharata) and Puranas, which helped children rooted in Dharma. In today’s world, the much-needed guidance of elders is lacking.

Pracharam helps fill this void with its exciting range of Dharmic learning tools. The site states that it aims to elevate people using stories rooted in the Veda, Vedanta, Itihasa, Purana, Arulicheyal (works of Azhwars), and Stotras (compositions of Acharyas).

Their About Us section reads:

We employ many methods in our attempt to realize our mission. We synthesize engaging activity from the principles of Sanatana Dharma. Weaving a web with stories to capture the attention, and following up with an experiential method allows us to introduce concepts, allows learners to imbibe the ideas, and finally come together to internalize Dharmic convictions satisfactorily.

We know no boundaries. Our core team travels continuously from place to place, spreading the truths of Sanatana Dharma. Everybody is welcome to contribute in any manner they can. Typically we focus our efforts on children. We welcome invitations from any part of India and abroad to conduct programs to learn about Sanatana Dharma.

Besides Bhakti boxes, Pracharam offers activity/coloring books, various categories of storybooks, and audiobooks. One can also opt for their combo packs. Pracharam also organizes events/camps for children. The site also has a few interesting blogs. While the content is predominantly for children, people across age groups can benefit.

“Our goal with Pracharam is to enable global standards of learning for local content. It is to help bridge both worlds. Of modern learning methods and ancient wisdom”, says one of their blogs. They indeed appear to be putting in efforts for the spiritual elevation of the next generation.
