In a historic step, Jena Sena’s Chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM announced the creation of a separate wing within the Jena Sena party to protect and preserve Sanatana Dharma across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The wing known as Narasimha Varahi Brigade aims to solve the issues concerning around the Hindu religious values and practices.
Narasimha Varahi Brigade
As per Pawan Kalyan, the Narasimha Varahi Brigade has been started to protect the Sanatana Dharma which will also address and take legal action on those who publicly disrespect or criticize Sanatana Dharma, especially on social media.
While showing respect to all the religions and faith, Pawan Kalyan has said that he respects all the religions and faith and follows the Hindu Dharma. He also asserted that Sanatana Dharma serves as a guiding principle not only for Bharat but also has broader implications for the world, thus underscoring the need for protection of its values and traditions.
While the decision has been seen as a welcome move, this initiative has been termed as a gimmick by the leftists, intellectuals and the liberals. These groups have even termed this decision as communal that will disturb the peace and social harmony of both the states. This propaganda by the evil groups will never have any ground since there imagination have reached a stagnant point.
Through the various press releases and statements by Pawan Kalyan, there has been no mention of any religion or faith. Infact, Pawan Kalyan has said that he respects all faiths and religions, but it does not give anyone the right to humiliate Sanatana Dharma.
While the opposition parties along with the liberals and, intellectuals may term this initiative as a gimmick, the seed of this initiative was well sown after the temple controversy in Andhra Pradesh.
National Sanatana Dharma Protection Board
After the laddoo controversy at the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan strongly advocated for the establishment of a Sanatana Dharma Rakshan Board at the national level. Further, he also stressed to have a Sanatana Dharma Certification to ensure purity in materials used for temple offerings and prasadam. The call to establish the Board got support from different sections after the report by Centre of Analysis and Learning in Livestock and Food (CALF) found beef, pig fat and fish oil in the ghee used to prepare the prasad. This not only caused a major uproar among the devotees but there were also calls to preserve the sanctity of Hindu temples and practices across Bharat.
Is this the first time Pawan Kalyan spoke for Hindu Dharm
In the past, Pawan Kalyan have strongly advocated and raised his voice over the injustice done to the Hindu Dharm. In one of the events at Tirupati, Pawan Kalyan strongly advocated to establish a national act to protect Sanatana Dharma and prevent harm to its beliefs.
Earlier before the elections, he also condemned the then YSRCP government for the increased attacks on Hindu temples in the state and demanded the Hindu temples to be free from the state control. He further said that though places of other faiths were out of state control, the temples were systematically put to control under the state to harm the sanctity of the Hindu Dharm.
In December 2020, Pawan Kalyan raised his voice over the attack on 400-year-old Hindu temple in the state that was demolished and the stone head of the Sri Rāma idol was thrown in the temple tank. Further, he also led 11-hour long hunger strike in protest against attacks on Hindu temples and the burning of a temple chariot and demanded strict action against those responsible for the burning of the chariot at Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple at Antarvedi in East Godavari district.
Conclusion
While the coalition led BJP government have been unable to establish the Sanatana Dharma Board at the national level despite the repeated attacks on Hindus, Pawan Kalyan have been braved enough and have started the initiative in his backyard. This step should be appreciated largely since he has not cared about the illogical comments by the opposition parties coupled with the liberals and leftists for whom Hindu Dharma is disease.
It is going to be undoubtedly difficult for the party and Pawan Kalyan to carry forward despite the obstacles both at the state and national level but the charismatic leader’s strong will not only protect the Hindus of the states but will also awaken the leaders in other parts of the neighbouring states to rise up and raise the issues of Hindus.
Every political party who has a small heart for Hindus should be brave enough to establish a small wing if not big to show its commitment to Hindus which though is very unlikely seeing the other party’s closeness with the liberals. But the step by Jena Sena and Pawan Kalyan will definitively carve a way for something big in the coming future.
