Ordinary Hindus start standing up against Conversion Mafia

We are all familiar with the saying ‘धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः’ (Dharma protects those who protect it). The entire shloka reads धर्म एव हतो हन्ति धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः । तस्माद्धर्मो न हन्तव्यो मा नो धर्मो हतोऽवधीत् – Manusmriti Chapter 8, Verse 15, meaning “If protected, Dharma protects; if slain, it slays; therefore I shall never renounce Dharma; lest Dharma, being slain, may slay ourselves”.

Hindus are now waking up and following this tenet while fighting the conversion mafia. It is a well-known fact that the two Abrahamic faiths of Christianity and Islam are forever seeking fertile grounds for conversions. Christianity and Islam are directly competing with each other in the race to gain ‘followers’.

While Islam still uses the sword & brutal persecution (and when outnumbered tools like love jihad), Christianity has evolved to be more clandestine as Goa Inquisition style barbarities are now frowned upon in the West. Hence they employ subtler methods of conversion like inducements, door-to-door campaigns, soft brainwashing, cultural appropriation and digestion, miracle cures etc.

Hindus are the target of both these religions – the Christian missionary mafia is careful to avoid Muslim-dominated localities as they know the reaction there will be swift and ruthless –  but in many places, Hindus have now started fighting back in a bid to save their Dharma.

The latest example of this comes from Andhra Pradesh where brave Hindus stood up to Christian evangelists and their 400 followers.

In the above video we can see an evangelist and his followers trying to carry out a procession through the bazaar of a village. That is when they are confronted by Hindus who ask him his name and whether he has sought police permission for the same. On receiving an affirmative reply, one of them asks him to produce the police permission letter and also the name of the police officer who gave them the letter. Not having an answer (and probably no permission either) the evangelist says that he would leave with his followers. When the Hindus refuse to relent, the guy states that he would acquire the permission and tries to send someone from his group to get police permission.

Furthermore, there are no Christians or not even a church in that bazaar and village, why would they then want to carry out a procession with Bibles in a Hindu area?  Pointing out that evangelism destroys social harmony the Hindus refuse to let them get away without answering their queries. They ask them as to who their head is and what is their purpose in taking out the procession? Not being able to reply to the barrage of questions the evangelist, who later identifies himself as Bhaskar Rao (notice how he still uses a Hindu name!) from Koppara village, turns to leave along with his followers.

The Hindus ask them to pray at a Church instead of trying to proselytize and also find a ‘guru’ who will show them the right path of true spirituality instead of mindless ‘soul harvesting’ for a jealous God. They warn them not carry out any ‘prachar’ (propaganda) in their village.

It may seem like a small one-off incident in a remote Andhra village but it is very significant. Just like every drop of water makes the ocean, similarly every little act of resistance to these predators would add up to awaken Hindus.

Hindu Dharma has been the most accommodating religion that has kept pace with the times by evolving its practices while keeping the core intact. However, Abrahamic religious fanatics, with ample help from liberal deracinated Hindus, have always taken our ‘tolerance’ as a sign of weakness.

But as the Tamil proverb goes “Sadhu Mirandal Kadu Kollathu” meaning when a tame person is needled, the impact cannot be withstood. The fight back has begun and the ‘tame and tolerant’ Hindu has discovered the lion sleeping within him/her. Time for Abrahamics to pack their bags and try proselytizing elsewhere?
