Documentary – “Pakistani Hindu – Who Am I?”

Dharmic Ideas & Policy Foundation (DIPF) is proud to announce details of the UK Tour of ground breaking documentary on the Human Rights abuses, kidnapping, conversions and the forced marriage of minority girls / children in Pakistan and the challenges refugee Hindus face in Bharat.

The documentary “Pakistani Hindu – Who am I” is a joint presentation by P2P Productions and Samvedana Trust. P2P are the makers of this documentary and Samvedana are the charity that seeks to help these Hindu refugees in Bharat. These refugees in Bharat have become almost stateless with uncertainty about the means of securing permanent residence in Bharat, being able to earn a decent livelihood, or settling down to educate their children and rebuilding their lives and communities, ignored at best while discriminated against for being Pakistani.

P2P Productions and Samvedana Trust aim to help these refugees by building small scale businesses to employ them. The primary aim is to provide at least each member of the family with a job so that he/she can earn at least 4,000 INR and bear at least some family expenditure.

Launch on 20th June 2018 in House of Commons

The documentary was launched in the House of Commons on 20th June 2018 in Committee Room 11. It was co – sponsored and supported by Dr. Mathew Offord MP (Conservative) – Hendon & Henry Smith MP (Conservative) – Crawley. The launch was successful and well attended.
