Christian assault on Hindu religious sites continues unabated in Andhra Pradesh (AP) with reports coming in of the largest Christian cross being erected on the Edlapadu hill in Guntur district. The site is home to Devi Sita’s Paduka (footprints of Mata Sita) in addition to Bhagwan Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy’s carving on the backside of the hill.

Hindus have been performing marriages at this site for a long time. However, Christians began occupying the place stating that the hill belonged to Mary. Emboldened by YSRCP coming to power and encouraged by Christian District Magistrate Samuel’s support, Christians who were hitherto claiming the hill began construction activities at the site.
Reports indicate that they not only erected a cross but also destroyed Mata Sita’s footprints and levelled the hill for the same. Tweeting on the issue, senior BJP leader Sunil Deodhar had pointed out in his tweet how Christian missionary mafia was destroying Hindu culture with the tacit support of the administrative machinery.
Available information also suggests that since the area is located adjacent to the national highway, plans are afoot to commercialize the area by constructing malls and commercial complexes. With the administration itself supporting the Christian missionaries, protests by Hindu organizations has fallen on deaf ears.
Christian proselytization in Andhra and Telangana are on the rise with Andhra being particularly on the radar of the Christian missionary mafia emboldened by the active encouragement of the Jagan Reddy government. The YSRCP government has been actively encouraging Christian conversions through its numerous pro-christian schemes.
Hindupost has already brought to light the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) adopted by the Christian missionary mafia. Attacks on Hindu Dharma in AP is not an accident but a well planned and executed design of the Christian missionary mafia as the state’s demographics are now increasingly skewed in favor of Christians with crypto-Christianity on the rise as well.
The latest incident is one in a series of attacks on Hindu Dharma and Hindus must now stand up to save their Dharma and religious sites from such wanton destruction, desecration and encroachment.
