A drone from Pakistan was shot down by the Border Security Force (BSF) Punjab’s Ajnala sector close to Indo-Pakistan border on Friday, officials said.
It was carrying a consignment from Pakistan to Bharat.
Senior BSF officials, including the Deputy Inspector General of Police, reached the spot. A search operation has been launched in the area.

Pakistan’s ISI operates trans-border drones to provide armaments and RPGs to Islamists and Khalistanis operating in Indian soil. It is very difficult for security personnel to keep watch over these drones that silently spirit across the border and drop ammo at secret places.
