‘Assam not your breeding ground’, Himanta Biswa Sarma on pushing back of 39 illegal Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators

Assam Police have successfully repulsed another attempted infiltration bid, pushing back 39 illegal Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators from Sribhumi sector back to their country.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to X, to announce about the latest pushback of Bangladeshi nationals who had attempted to enter the State on the night of 11th of September, Thursday.

Stating that Assam is not a ‘breeding ground’ of Bangladeshi infiltrators, CM Sarma reitered his and the BJP-led Assam Government’s commitment to hunt down every illegal infiltrator and to send them back to Bangladesh.

CM Sarma wrote on X, “They entered without permission, we pushed back with precision. We will hunt down every illegal infiltrator and send them back to their origins. Assam is not your breeding ground.”

After taking office as the CM of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma took zero tolerance policy towards the Bangladeshi infiltration issue. The identification and detention of the illegal Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators are happening regularly and CM Sarma shares those stories on his social media handles. Earlier on many occasions, CM Sarma explained that the infiltration from Bangladesh is a serious threat to the culture and natural landscape of Assam. So, his government will detain every illegal Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrator and send them back to their country.
