Abducted woman, gang-raped, forced to perform namaz, force-fed beef & murdered: Bharatpur, Rajasthan

A shocking case of a woman being abducted, gang-raped, force-fed beef, and finally forced to perform namaz before being murdered by five Islamists has come to the fore from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur. The horrific incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Sikri (Sikari) police station.

A complaint was filed by the woman’s father who levelled several serious allegations against the accused. As per reports, the woman called her father four months ago from an unknown number to inform him that she had been abducted by Irshad, Fayyad, Waheed, Usman, and Kasam. The complaint says that each of the accused raped the victim at gunpoint.

“On October 18, the suspicious death of a woman was reported. We then went to the spot in the village and kept the body of the woman in the mortuary of Sikri Health Center and sent information to the family of the deceased. After receiving the information, the deceased’s father, a resident of Haryana, who reached the spot in the Sikri area, lodged a case at the Sikri police station. The deceased’s father has written in the report that some unidentified miscreants kidnapped his daughter from the village about 8-9 months ago”, station house officer (SHO) Mahesh Meena said.

The complaint says the family members had been searching for their daughter since the incident. When the victim called about 3-4 months back, she also said that the accused were threatening to kill her. The father’s complaint further notes that his daughter informed him how the five Islamists forced her to do namaz and consume beef.

The police handed over the woman’s body to her family members after the post-mortem on October 19. SHO Mahesh Meena confirmed that an abduction case had been lodged by the family at Khairthal police station. The police have registered a case based on the complaint by the woman’s father and are investigating the matter.

It must be highlighted that Bharatpur has become a hub of sexual assault cases. In May this year, a 12-year-old was gang-raped by two men. The girl’s family found her at 4 in the morning in the jungle. Last known, the police were investigating the case and the accused were absconding. In a similar case reported from the Bharatpur district in July 2021, a 14-year-old minor girl was raped by two youths who threw her in the well after the horrific act with the intention to kill her.

Earlier this month a horrific case of gang rape and extortion by Islamists was reported from Rajasthan’s Alwar. A Class 8 girl student (16) was first gang-raped by 8 Muslim youths. The accused recorded the act and then threatened to make the video viral unless the victim paid INR 50K. After the victim paid them, they made another demand for INR 2.5 lakhs sometime later.

Both Alwar and Bharatpur are historically a part of the Mewat region which reports indicate is turning almost exclusively Muslim.

  1. What a horrible thing is going on! Such a spate Hindu-hate and outrageous Islamist activities brewing up in different parts of Rajsthan only attest to Govt.’s inactivity and indifference to Hindus. We receive such reports from Rajasthan now & then.
