West Bengal: Bombs hurled at BJP rally, allegations against TMC

TMC-backed goons hurled country-made bombs in a rally led by BJP MLA of Bhagawanpur Sri Rabindranath Maity. Total 7 people injured including local BJP MLA.

On Thursday after BJP workers let out a rally in Pausi market under Bhagawanpur area under Purba Medinipur district, demanding an NIA investigation into the Egra bomb blast case. Suddenly TMC-backed goons threw bombs at the rally, alleged BJP leaders.

BJP MLA of Bhagwanpur constituency, Rabindranath Maity, alleged that TMC-backed goons also fired bullets aimed at the BJP workers. Manual president of Yuva Morcha Gobinda Das injured in gunshot. He also alleged that police harassed the women workers who were present at the rally. 

On the other hand, TMC denied all the allegations. District President and TMC MLA of Egra constituency Tarun Kumar Maity said that CISF jawans were fired and a TMC worker was injured.
