“A Hindu woman from the Majhola area of Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh has given a complaint to the police against Mohammad Jamal. The woman alleged that Jamal posed as a Hindu man to trap her into conversion-nikah. Later he left her giving ‘Triple Talaq’.
The woman in her complaint stated that Jamal posed as Sonu to befriend her four years ago. When she was trapped into his clutches he revealed his true identity. Soon, he began forcing her to convert to Islam. Believing him the woman accepted Islam and they both got married to each other as per Islamic rituals.
After the marriage, he started abusing her, and the woman was sexually assaulted by Jamal. He also started demanding dowry from her. The woman gave birth to a daughter and after this, he started pressurizing her o bring five lakh cash and a car from her parent’s family, as he received no dowry during the ‘Nikah’….”
