NIA apprehends Islamist Mustafa Paichar in connection with Karnataka BJP activist Praveen Nettaru murder

In a significant development, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made a crucial breakthrough in the investigation concerning the tragic murder of Karnataka BJP Yuva Morcha member, Praveen Nettaru, perpetrated by two Islamist assailants, which occurred in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district’s Bellare in 2022. According to reports from Daiji World, the prime accused in the case, identified as Islamist Mustafa Paichar, was apprehended by NIA officials on May 10, Friday from Hassan district in Karnataka.

NIA’s two-year pursuit: Apprehending the Islamist perpetrator

It was revealed that NIA investigators apprehended him in Sakleshpur, located in the Hassan district. Furthermore, it has been disclosed that two individuals who offered refuge to Mustafa have also been detained by authorities.

On the night of July 26, 2022, Islamist miscreants perpetrated the brutal murder of Praveen Nettaru. Subsequently, several individuals were apprehended in connection with the case. The NIA had issued a lookout notice for Mustafa and announced a reward of five lakh rupees for informants.

In January 2023, the NIA submitted a charge sheet against 20 individuals in relation to the case. As per the charge sheet, Praveen’s murder was purportedly part of a scheme aimed at instigating fear and communal hatred within society by creating panic among members of the Hindu community.

Popular Front of India (PFI) operatives planned murder

The investigation into the murder of Praveen Nettaru sheds light on the purported involvement of the Popular Front of India (PFI), an Islamist extremist organization accused of orchestrating the assassination. According to findings by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the PFI allegedly masterminded the formation of covert “secret killer squads” as part of a broader agenda to establish Islamic rule by 2047. These clandestine units, equipped with weapons and trained in surveillance techniques, were purportedly tasked with identifying, recruiting, and surveilling leaders affiliated with specific communities and organizations. The NIA’s probe reveals a meticulously planned operation aimed at instigating fear and communal discord within the Hindu community, underscoring the alleged extremist nature of the individuals involved in the crime. Targeted crimes against Hindus are escalating, with the PFI emerging as a key supporter of Islamist terrorism in Bharat, posing a significant threat to the Hindu community.
