Two Muslim youth have been booked for threatening to kill RSS swayamsevak Dushyant Gupta in Amanpur, Kasganj district, UP.

Dushyant, a resident of Gandhinagar locality, had stood up for the besieged former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma who has been receiving a flood of rape and death threats ever since Islamist propagandist Md. Zubair twisted her remarks during a TV debate out of context and dog whistled Muslims across the world to target her for ‘blasphemy’.

On July 25, he saw a threatening Instagram post from Sameer Siddiqui and Rashid in which they threatened to bury him alive. The two accused deleted the post after some time, but Dushyant had taken a screenshot by then. He lodged a complaint against them in Amanpur police station.

On Thursday, police arrested Sameer Siddiqui from Sidpura circle. They are looking out for the other accused, Rashid.
