A man, Moin Pathan, working in a garage has been arrested for raping a 14-year-old girl in Vadodara, Gujarat. Pathan was nabbed on Monday after the girl’s father filed a complaint of rape against him.
Police said that Pathan befriended the girl through Facebook and they used to chat. The girl’s father has a shop in Bhayli area and the accused, who is in his twenties, works in a garage nearby. Two days ago, Pathan met the girl near her tuition class and told her that it was his birthday. He took her to his home where he assaulted and raped her.
“We filed a case of rape on the basis of the girl’s father’s complaint,’’ the police said.
