Yogi Adityanath might be the CM of UP, an alleged ‘Hindu majoritarian fascist’ as per the scaremongering Lutyens cabal, but cases of Muslim radicals sexually targeting & stalking Hindu women in UP keep occurring with sickening regularity.
Yet another such case has emerged from Bareilly in UP. The accused Muslim man runs two beauty parlors in Kila are of the town. He used to stalk the wife of a businessman, calling her and talking obscenely, and molesting her whenever he found her alone in the neighborhood. On November 19, he again called her at 2.30 PM and this time threatened her to come to his beauty parlor otherwise he would kill her husband and other family members.
The scared woman finally confided in her husband. The businessman decided to visit the accused. He told the Muslim man to end this harassment and stop calling his wife. But the accused and his accomplices refused to pay heed and instead attacked the man, injuring him grievously on his head and ears. The snatched his mobile and money, and also vandalized his car. The husband managed to save his life and get away somehow.
He then lodged a complaint with police. Soon, some Hindu activists got wind of the case and reached Kila police station in his support. The man has alleged that the accused also threatened his wife to convert to Islam.
Locals claim that the accused Muslim man uses his beauty parlors to blackmail women, and to run a conversion racket. They have warned the administration to act against the accused and his accomplices else they will launch a protest.
Inspector Arun Kumar Shrivastava from the Kila Police Station said that the matter is being ‘investigated’ and they will take action against the accused.
Last year, UP had introduced a law to curb the rampant menace of grooming jihad, wherein Muslim men trap Hindu girls (often using fake Hindu identities at the outset) for sexual exploitation and/or conversion and marriage. That law has come as a godsend for Hindu families, and there has also been a marked drop in the brazen molestation and harassment of school/college going girls in Muslim-dominated areas, which was the norm during the Samajwadi years.
Yet, the supremacist Muslim mindset is so ingrained, and the contempt for our secular state’s law & order machinery so deep-rooted, that incidents like this one from Bareilly show no sign of ending.
Giving another term to Yogi Adityanath for another term in next year’s assembly election is the very least Hindus need to do to protect themselves. Beyond that, Hindu society needs a complete mindset change with religious organizations coming to the fore to organize and protect the interests of the community.
