“Uttar Pradesh: Mohd Shahzeb stabbed his wife Shahna to death on refusing to offer Namaz on time”, Organiser, May 7, 2023:
“Once people start to believe that, Islamic fanaticism can go this far only, even more brutal cases show up. In a recent case from Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur, a Muslim man killed his wife after stabbin her multiple times with a screwdriver. He raged because the woman allegedly refuse to offer Namaz on time.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Shahzeb, a resident of the Bagicha Amna area of Rampur whereas the victim Shahna Bano is a resident of the Kashiram colony, civil lines area.
The police officer interacting with the media briefed the incident as “The duo had got married to each other some 4-5 years ago, it was a love marriage. On May 6, the accused and the victim had an argument after which Shahzeb stabbed the woman multiple times with a screwdriver. He even took out her eyes and stabbed her neck area. She died immediately”….
