Minor Hindu girl from Nawada, Bihar abducted by Musharraf Alam recovered from Ranchi, Jharkhand

“Bihar: Minor from Nawada abducted by Musharraf Alam recovered from Ranchi”, Organiser, May 11, 2023:

“Musharraf Alam abducted a 16-year-old Hindu girl on April 24 from the Warisaliganj police station area of the Nawada district of Bihar. Almost after 15 days the Nawada police tracked the duo in Ranchi and rescued the minor girl, the police also arrested the accused boy.

As per a First Information Report (number–199/2023), the victim’s mother Shobha Devi wife of Kishore Kumar Gupta told the police that on April 24 her daughter went missing. She left home for tuition but did not return home. After they connected her friends they told the family that she might have left home with Musharraf.

The parents then checked her mobile phone, the family also received a threatening call, the boy on the call threatened them with dire consequences if they try and file a complaint against him. He said he would not die alone, he would also take their daughter with him….”
