Jaipur Police has arrested 21-year-old Mohammad Hashim, who edited photos of minor girls to create morphed nude photos & videos and uploaded them on social media. The accused hails from Kalli Ka Bhatta of Galta Gate area and lives in front of Maulana Sahib’s dargah.
Jaipur North Deputy Commissioner of Police Paris Deshmukh said that the complainant Kashifuddin had filed a report at police station Subhash Chowk, Jaipur North regarding photo editing of his two minor daughters by Hashim, who was preparing nude photos and uploading them on social media.
An FIR 25/2023 was registered in Subhash Chowk police station, under the section 67B IT Act 2000 and section 13.15 POCSO Act 2012. Subhash Chowk police station has taken one day remand by presenting the accused in the court, where he has confessed to his crime.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Paris Deshmukh said that upon receiving a complaint, a team was formed under the supervision of under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner of Police Manak Chowk Dr. Hemant Jakhar. Subhash Chowk police station’s SHO Inspector Ramphool Meena, Head Constable Sube Singh, Constable Nafe Singh, Dipendra Singh, Kuldeep, Technical Assistant Constable Vijay Kumar were also included in the team.
Technical Assistant Constable Vijay Kumar made a significant contribution in arresting Hashim, as he tracked the the location of Hashim, who uploaded the nude photographs unanimously. The mobile with which the photo was edited by the accused has also been recovered and seized.
