“Maharashtra: Samir Pathan, Shoaib and Javed brutally assault Mahesh for his association with a Hindu organisation”, Organiser, May 19, 2023:
“In Maharashtra’s Shrirampur a Hindu man was brutally assaulted by an Islamic mob in an Urs procession on May 17. The victim has been identified as Mahesh Mukund Shahane. He told the police that the Islamists attacked him for just being a part of a Hindu Organisation.
A First Information Report (number–467/2023) was registered at the Shrirampur police station of the Ahmednagar district on May 18 by the victim Mahesh. The accused on the other hand have been identified as Samir Pathan, Shoaib Qureshi and Javed Shah, as per the FIR.
In his complaint, Mahesh told the police that, he works as a lab assistant at the Prabhat Dairy. On May 17, the day of the attack, he was at his own house only as it was his week off. The same day, he went to Renuka Travels owned be his friend Shivraj Shrikrishna Lavar in front of the bus stand after having dinner at about 9 pm. By 10 pm he left the place and started moving towards his house…..”
