“Madhya Pradesh man beaten to death by mob, cop trying to rescue him killed too”, India Today, March 16, 2025:

“A group of tribals allegedly abducted and killed a man before attacking a police team attempting to rescue him, leading to the death of an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) in Madhya Pradesh’s Mauganj district.

The incident occurred on Saturday. Five suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the violence.

According to Rewa Range Deputy Inspector General of Police Saket Pandey, two people, including an ASI, lost their lives, while other policemen sustained minor injuries……”
