Kerala Hindu student alleges molestation, attempted rape, and threats by Hainas amid rising lawlessness under the Congress govt: KA

A 20-year-old college student from Kerala has accused a realtor of molestation, attempted rape, and criminal intimidation during a party in Bengaluru, alleging that continuous threats and violent attacks by the accused Islamist and his associates eventually forced her to flee the city for safety.

According to the FIR registered at Madiwala Police Station, the incident took place on May 11 during a gathering hosted by cafe owners where the Hindu victim, a student of a private college who also worked part-time at a momos outlet, had been invited.

As per the Shillong Times reports, the prime accused Islamist, identified as Hainas, reportedly a native of Kerala working as a real estate broker, was allegedly assisting the cafe owners in selling their business. The victim alleged that the assault occurred after the hosts briefly stepped outside the premises, leaving her alone with the accused.

In a video statement, the student alleged that the accused Hainas forcibly attempted sexual acts and tried to rape her. She stated that he violently pulled at her clothes and physically overpowered her before her friends intervened and rescued her from the situation. She further alleged that the accused then threatened them with a liquor bottle and warned them against approaching the police.

The ordeal allegedly did not end there. The woman claimed that when she and her friends attempted to file a complaint at Madiwala Police Station the following day, associates linked to the accused allegedly intimidated them outside the police station itself, creating fear and pressure to withdraw from legal action.

According to the complaint, the intimidation escalated further on May 14, when nearly nine Islamists allegedly connected to the accused were seen loitering near the victim’s workplace. The next day, an associate identified as Suresh, along with a group of men, allegedly barged into the residence of her acquaintances and physically assaulted them, leaving several people injured.

Fearing for her life and safety amid the repeated threats and violent intimidation, the student eventually fled Bengaluru and returned to Kerala with the help of a friend.

The victim also leveled serious allegations against the police, accusing officers of engaging in moral policing instead of immediately acting on her complaint. She alleged that police personnel questioned her character and morality rather than promptly registering an FIR against the accused. Following mounting pressure and the victim’s allegations becoming public, police eventually registered an FIR on May 18 against Hainas and his associates under multiple provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, including Sections 62, 64, 115(1), 118(1), 351(1) and 3(5).

The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many questioning the delay in police action, the alleged intimidation outside a police station, and the growing concerns surrounding women’s safety in Bengaluru.

In another disturbing incident from Bengaluru, police arrested five individuals in connection with the alleged drugging and gang rape of a 19-year-old college student at a private villa in the Jakkur area. The case also witnessed counter-allegations involving claims of extortion and an alleged honey-trap operation, prompting authorities to conduct a detailed investigation into all parties connected to the incident.

According to police, the survivor alleged that she was forcibly made to consume an intoxicating substance before being sexually assaulted by two men inside the villa located in one of Bengaluru’s upscale localities. The victim, a first-year BA student originally from Tirupur in Tamil Nadu, had moved to Bengaluru around five months ago to pursue her higher education.

A city once regarded as one of Bharat’s safest metropolitan hubs for students and working women is increasingly witnessing incidents involving intimidation, sexual violence, organized threats, and growing lawlessness. Where is Home Minister G. Parameshwara? Where is Chief Minister Siddaramaiah? As brutal crimes continue to rise in Bengaluru, citizens are left asking why nobody in the government appears answerable. The repeated incidents of assaults, attacks, intimidation, and crimes against women are creating fear among students, professionals, and families living in the city. A government that self-claims to stand for public welfare cannot remain silent while Bengaluru’s law and order situation deteriorates day by day.
