Encroachers Farid, Raju, & Rafiq brutally beat and drag Hindu woman over land dispute: Guna, MP

A Hindu woman was brutally beaten and dragged by her hair on the road by Islamists over a land dispute. Villagers recorded the incident on video and posted it on social media. The incident of extreme cruelty occurred in the Fatehgarh police station area of Guna district.

According to local sources, Deepchand Lodhi, a resident of Vishnupura village, disagreed with his neighbours, Farid Khan, Raju, and Rafiq, over a land dispute. Reports state that the Islamists encroached on government land. The argument between the families quickly escalated into a physical fight.

Farid, Raju, and Rafiq began attacking Deepchand Lodhi as the situation worsened. When Deepchand’s wife, Ramwati Bai, tried to protect him, the attackers turned on her. They dragged Ramwati by her hair onto the main road and beat her relentlessly while the villagers watched without intervening.

Instead of helping Ramwati and Deepchand, the villagers filmed the attack. The video of this shocking incident has gone viral on social media. In response, the Fatehgarh police have registered a case of simple assault against the accused. The dispute began over a piece of government land near Deepchand’s house, leading to a heated argument resulting in violence.

  1. This is a very incident which villagers could have intervened & stopped. It’s a agonizing surprise why the Guna Police didn’t arrest the culprits.
