Haryana: Anjum Suleman, Bilal and others attack Hindu youth Vicky Bharadwaj with sharp weapons; tear open his chest

The country had not overcome the shock and grief of the Udaipur horror in which two Islamists had beheaded a defenceless Hindu, Kanhaiya Lal. And yet, another spine-chilling incident of a Hindu youth, Vicky Bharadwaj, being attacked by two Islamist youth has hit the headlines.

A group of miscreants attacked Vicky Bharadwaj with a sharp weapon in the Palwal district of Haryana. The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 28, when Vicky was returning from Delhi. He was attacked by the accused persons near the Golaya Public School in Palwal. These miscreants ferociously stabbed Vicky and tore open his chest. The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital and has since been under treatment.

Reports suggest the attackers have been identified as Bilal and Anjum; Anjum’s father’s name is Suleman. Both the accused are absconding since the incident. According to the Police, some 5-6 more people were accompanying Anjum and Bilal; these men are also absconding. Police have lodged an FIR about the incident, and search operations are on.

The complaint has been lodged by Vicky’s father, who shared that his son had gone to Delhi to buy some products for his mobile shop. “He didn’t return till late in the evening. Later at around 1 am, I was informed that my son had been attacked by the 5-6 people”, mentioned the father in his complaint.

He further informed that he had asked his son when he met at the hospital about what exactly had happened on the day of the incident. Vicky narrated, “I was returning in my car from Delhi when I met some of my friends at the district bus stop. I offered them to drop at their destination and went camping with them. My car was stopped by some of the miscreants at the Golaya Public School at around 12:15 am. Suddenly 5-6 of them started beating me”. Vicky identified one of his attackers as Anjum and informed him that his father’s name was Suleman, a resident of Sheikhpura, Palwal.

While giving his statement to the Police, Vicky added that Anjum had said they would kill him on the spot. “Anjum stabbed me in my chest and I collapsed on the street. Some people came to help me after my friends screamed for help. Anjum threatened me to kill some other time again and he ran away from the spot”, Vicky said in his complaint.

While Vicky is still in the hospital receiving treatment, his father has shared that they are not doing very well financially, and his son is struggling to survive at the Gurunanak Hospital.

On June 30, Hindu organizations staged protests in Palwal and demanded exemplary punishment for the Islamist attackers. They also claimed that the cruel face of Islam had surfaced. The Police investigating the case have registered a case under various IPC sections including148, 149, 307, 324, 341, and 506. Brutal attacks on innocent Hindus by Islamists have become an everyday scenario in present-day Bharat. Unfortunately, neither the government nor administration is doing anything to save the Hindus from these jihadis baying for Hindu blood. It is not an exaggeration that these radicals are lurking on every street and corner and waiting for their next prey, the next Hindu.
