Indore witnessed a shocking incident in the Sadar Bazar area, where a Hindu youth, Babbar Morale, lost his life following a violent altercation with two neighbors. As per Etv Bharat, the accused, Bittu alias Sabir and Alfaaz alias Allu, attacked Babbar by hurling a cement block from their roof, which struck his head. Despite being rushed to MY Hospital, Babbar succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The police have since arrested both accused, but the heinous act has left the local Hindu community outraged and demanding justice.
The dispute began on 4th December, Saturday evening, when Babbar, a resident of Secunderabad Colony, was talking to a woman at a Pani-Pataasa shop. A verbal altercation ensued when the accused allegedly taunted Babbar, leading to an argument. Although bystanders managed to pacify the situation temporarily, the accused later escalated the matter. As Babbar stood near their house, they threw a cement block from the rooftop, inflicting fatal injuries. Babbar’s family and a local resident, Sunil, rushed him to the hospital, but he could not survive the brutal assault.
The incident has sparked outrage among Hindu organizations, who claim the attack highlights a pattern of targeted violence against Hindus by the radical Islamists. After news of Babbar’s death spread, members of Hindu groups gathered in Secunderabad Colony to protest the murder. In their frustration, some protesters vandalized a local dargah, accusing the accused of acting with impunity in a climate of communal disregard for Hindu lives. The situation escalated as Babbar’s grieving family blocked the road at Mata Chowk, demanding swift justice and stringent action against the Islamist perpetrators.
Police authorities, led by DCP Vinod Meena, have assured the public that the accused have been apprehended and sent to jail. While law enforcement has managed to stabilize the situation temporarily by deploying additional forces, the Hindu community remains dissatisfied. Many argue that the incident underscores deeper societal fractures, where Hindus are increasingly targeted by the Islamists in communal clashes and are demanding systemic change to prevent such tragedies in the future.
The family of the deceased recounted that Babbar had just returned from a celebratory outing with friends before the tragic altercation unfolded. What began as a seemingly minor dispute turned into a cold-blooded murder, leaving the family devastated and the community enraged. The Hindu organizations insist this is not an isolated case but part of a broader trend of violence against Hindus by the radical Islamic elements.
This brutal killing has reignited calls for justice and protection of Hindu lives in a polarized environment. The Hindu community in Indore and beyond continues to demand accountability, urging authorities to address the root causes of such violence and ensure that the Islamist perpetrators face the strictest punishment under the law.
