While self-styled ‘Dalit’ activists like Suraj Yengde and Dilip Mandal spend all their time spewing venom on Hindu Dharma, it is the ‘communal’ Hindu organizations like VHP that come to the aid of ordinary SC (Scheduled Caste) Hindus who are most vulnerable to the Islamist crimes sweeping across the nation.
A minor SC girl has been raped by a tile-layer/mason Farman Ali in in Izzatnagar area of Bareilly district, UP. Her father knew one Abbas Ali for long. So he decided to give him the contract to do some tile-laying work in his house, for which Abbas sent his son Farman Ali on October 12. Once inside the house, Farman Ali started eyeing the man’s minor daughter, a 13-year-old Class VIII schoolgirl.
Soon, Ali started stalking the girl and even following her to school. On November 22, when the girl was on the way to school, Farman Ali accosted her and forcefully took her away. He gave her a drink laced with drugs and later raped her in an OYO hotel room. After she came to her senses, he threatened to kill her if she told anyone.
The scared girl said nothing that day, but when her condition deteriorated the next day she told her parents. As the father was going to the police station to lodge a complaint, he was intercepted by Farman Ali and his father Abbas Ali near Shaheed Gate. The two men hurled casteist abuses at the victim’s father and threatened to kill the entire family if he lodged an FIR.
Later, with the help of VHP and Hindu Jagran Manch leaders who accompanied him to the police station, the girl’s father lodged rape and POCSO charges against Farman Ali and a case under SC/ST Act and other IPC sections against Abbas Ali. He also spoke to local media demanding justice and harsh punishment to the accused.
Angry locals and Hindu organizations held a protest by blocking Bareilly-Nainital highway. After Izzatnagar inspector Arun Kumar assured them that raids are being carried out and the accused would be arrested soon, the blockade was lifted. As per popular online journalist Ashwini Shrivastava, Farman Ali has now been arrested.
