One Akleem Qureshi aka Babu & his two brothers have been accused of gang-raping a Hindu girl at gunpoint, while his 2 sisters Tarannum & Shabana drugged the victim & filmed the act. The victim was allegedly also force-fed beef and forced to convert to Islam.
Bareilly police informed that 6 people have been booked, including 3 women, on the basis of the complaint. Those booked are Akleem Qureshi, Shadal, Visal, Tarannum, Shabana and Gazala.
The girl, who lives in the Shahi police station area of the district, runs a beauty parlor at her home, which Tarannum and her friend Gazala frequented. As she grew friendly with Tarannum over time, one day Tarannum invited her to come to her house. When she reached there, she was locked in a room where Akleem Qureshi had already been hiding.
He then raped her at gunpoint while his two sisters, Tarannum and Shabana, filmed the act. Blackmailing her with the recording, they then forced the victim to eat beef, convert to Islam and marry Akleem Qureshi. Qureshi then took her to various places like Allahabad, Varanasi, Akbarpur, Ajmer, Bihar and Agra. In Agra, the girl said that Akleem and his two brothers Shadal and Visal took turns and gang-raped her.
The victim said that the accused also stole a large sum of money and jewelery from her. She somehow escaped from Qureshi’s clutches in November and approached the police. Bareilly SSP Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasia confirmed that based on the complaint lodged by the victim, a case was registered against the six accused.
