Another Hindu girl from Bangladesh forcibly converted to Islam

On 25th February a Hindu girl named Toma Deb was abducted and forcibly converted to Islam by a local Muslim man Mohammed Alal Mis. This incident took place at Nabiganj P.S., Habiganj district of Bangladesh.

The 19-year-old girl, a permanent resident of Bangladesh made an affidavit where she clearly mentioned that she has been converted to Islam from Sanatan Hindu Dharma. She came to know about Islam from various Islamic Waz Mahfil and from the local Muslims. Her heart is convinced that Islam is the real religion, the religion of peace, and the religion of truth. Islam is the only religion that can give people peace and liberation in this world and thereafter. She has been inspired by the ideals of Islam and left Hindu Dharma with the decision to convert herself to Islam voluntarily. She stated that her name Tama Deb has changed to Mochha Labiba Islam after conversion.

As a result of this, the population of Hindus is gradually declining in Bangladesh. Hindus have always been harassed by the majority Muslims in Bangladesh. Forced conversion by a radical form of Islam has increased in Bangladesh in recent times.
