Grooming jihad and sex slavery: Hindu SC girl trapped by Imran aka ‘Raju Jatav’, later raped by maulana and others, pushed into prostitution by Muslim mother-in-law

A chilling grooming and rape jihad case has emerged from Gwalior, MP. A Hindu girl from a Brahmin community met one Raju Jatav in January, 2021. The two got into a relationship and the girl became pregnant and was forced to abort. On September 18, 2021, the two got married at a Sitala Mata mandir according to Hindu rituals.

That is when the nightmare started for the girl. She found out that Raju’s real name was Imran. Soon after, a maulana arrived and told her that they needed to get married as per Muslim rituals for which she needed to convert to Islam. Sharia law doesn’t allow a Muslim man to marry a non-Muslim woman, unless she is from ‘people of the book’ i.e. Christian or Jew. A Muslim woman is not permitted to marry any non-Muslim man.

The forced her to convert and do nikah. That same night, the maulana raped her. She was physically assaulted by her in-laws and kept locked in a room for 7 months. The one person she might have expected some empathy from as a fellow woman, her mother-in-law Sugga Begum turned out to be the most evil.

First, her brother-in-laws Aman and Punni both raped her in Sugga Begum’s presence. Later, she was forced into prostitution, and different men would come into her room and rape her. On April 20, the door of the room was luckily left open and she managed to escape to her parents’ house. The girl and her elder sister filed a complaint with the Gwalior police on Saturday, 23 April. With the help of Hindu social organizations, the girl also met senior police officials in Gwalior and demanded security as she fears for her life.

As per police, a case has been lodged against the ‘husband’ Imran, brother-in-law Aman, mother-in-law Sugga Begum, Maulana Osama Khan, Punni and two unidentified others based on the complaint. Imran and his mother Sugga Begum have been arrested while three others are still at large.

Upon investigation, it was found that Imran’s house in Jangipura area of Dabra tehsil was illegally built on encroached land. The administration then proceeded to demolish the house manually, as a bulldozer could not reach via the narrow lanes of the locality.

Not a single so-called Dalit organization like Bhim Army, Tribal Army, Dalit Voice, or even parties like BSP, Congress, SP have raised their voice for this girl who has gone through a horrific experience. No English-language media outlet has camped out at the girl’s house to talk to her family and commiserate with them. It is only the much reviled Hindu organizations – Bajrang Dal, VHP etc – that have stood by fellow Hindus in their time of need.

Sugga Begum is the archetype of the Islamist woman. She represents the harsh reality of the deeply radicalized Indian Muslim community, where Hindus are looked upon with contempt as hell-bound ‘idol worshippers’, and Hindu girls as uncovered pieces of meat who are legitimate targets for sexual predation and forced conversion. This is the real world, a far cry from the make-believe fantasy depicted by liberal HINO ad-makers who churn out Tanishq Ekatvam campaigns.

Update

20 Nov, 2022

A video has emerged on social media of the woman narrating her horror story. Also, as per Swarajyamag.com, she is from the Brahmin community and not an SC as was earlier reported.

  1. 100% true picture you have described. Having worked in this field for years, can attest. BTW nearly 90% of love or grooming jihad involve rape of the Hindu girl. Many never reveal it out of shame or fear their family will be targeted.
