Four Muslim youth murdered a Bajrang Dal worker Arvind Sagar in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand

Bajrang Dal worker Arvind alias Pappi Sagar was shot dead by unknown assailants on Sunday morning. It is said that some people called him and fired upon him at a distance of 250 meters from the house. The relatives created a ruckus in the hospital and laid siege to the SP City for the arrest of the murderers.

According to the police officials, they had received information about the dead body of the youth lying on the roadside on Chorpani Road. On reaching the spot, the youth was identified as 27-year-old Arvind alias Pappi Sagar s/o Chhatrapal, a resident of Lutabarh. The police took the dead body to Ramnagar Hospital, where the relatives of the youth started creating a ruckus demanding the arrest of the unknown accused.

Chandan Sagar, the brother of the deceased had filed a formal complaint in this matter. After this, the police started searching for the accused and conduct further investigation. Police formed 10 specialized teams to initiate a search operation to nab the killers.

Based on suspicion, Police has arrested four Muslim youth. Azam s/o Rafi age 20 years resident of Jaspur Khurd police station ITI district Udham Singh Nagar, Rizwan alias Sukha age 24 years resident ward no 02 Mahuakheda Ganj police station ITI district Udham, Irfan s/o Iqrar Hussain r/o Lutabad Ramnagar, Sabir alias Puncher s/o Sakir Hussain r/o Lutabad Ramnagar district Nainital, have been arrested for this murder so far.

Harbans Singh, SP City has confirmed that “The murder has been registered. Police are raiding in search of the accused. Four people are being taken into custody and interrogated. Soon the accused will be arrested and the incident will be disclosed.”

It is being said that the house of Bajrang Dal worker Arvind was attacked in February as well, where his mother and sister were injured. Then he filed a case against the seven accused, but Police didn’t take any action whatsoever. On negligence in this matter, SSP Pankaj Bhatt has initiated disciplinary action against woman constable Manisha Singh and Dhela police station in-charge Ravindra Rana posted at Ramnagar Kotwali.
