Deepak Tyagi (20) beheaded allegedly over relationship with a Muslim girl, 6 arrested: UP

20-year-old Deepak Tyagi was brutally murdered in a Taliban-style beheading for his alleged relationship with a Muslim girl. The incident took place in Meerut District’s Parikshitgarh. A complaint was filed by Deepak’s father against unknown persons. The police failed to find Deepak’s head thus far despite using a dog squad in the search and have launched an investigation into the case by taking six persons from Ahmedpur Badhala into custody.

The headless body was discovered on Tuesday morning in the jungle of Khajuri village which led to outrage among the villagers. They were angered at learning that it was of youth from their village and they protested on the Meerut-Parikshitgarh highway.

Minister Dinesh Khatik, SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan, SP Dehat Keshav Kumar, SP Crime Anit Kumar, and CO Amit Rai reached the spot to pacify the villagers. The villagers agreed to remove the blockade after assurance of strict action by minister Khatik. The family has refused to perform the last rites till the police find his head.

It has come to light that Deepak had several acquaintances from Ahmedpur Badhala village. After his body was recovered, 6 Muslims from the village were taken into custody. The victim was reportedly having an ‘affair’ with a hairdresser’s daughter despite opposition from his family. The girl’s relatives are being questioned by the police.

Deepak was the youngest among four sisters and two brothers. His death shocked his parents Poonam and Dhirendra. Reports say Deepak had gone to fetch fodder from the field along with a family servant. He went missing some time after he returned home.

“The police are searching for Deepak’s head for which we have formed teams. We are constantly monitoring the situation. We will recover his head at the earliest and ensure his last rites are perfomed,” stated SSP Sajwan. The police are working on four fronts with different teams being deployed on each line. They have also activated their informer network to aid the police teams. The local police are working together with the crime branch to solve the case.

  1. Yes, Mr Vinay is correct: When a Muslim is killed the global media giants swoop onto the news blasting the incident from all angles, but if a Hindu is beheaded, they take it casually like normal death of a mortal man. But our Govt must be aware that Islamic violence is growing apace in India. Even just five years back the scenario was not the same as it is now. It may be a serious threat to Hindu lives and their culture. Not only the Hindus are murdered but their deities are broken in puja pandals and temples at many places. Many Hindus living in close proximity of Muslim community no longer feel safe pursuing their pujas in pandals and temples.

  2. Arre Hindupost, yeh bhi koi news hai bhalaa? It is not even mentioned in MSM. No one cares about it. Pl. try again when instead of Deepak, the victim is named Dawood. Then it will be worldwide news, and even BBC/CNN will cover it. It will be sent to UNO. OIC will have special session on it. Tab cover karna. Till then, pl. tell us when is next T20 game with Pakistan and whether Bumrah and Shaheen will play or not. Unke bagair bilkul maza nahi aata….

    (sarcastic, your readers will understand)

  3. Are they humans? If a Muslim boy had a relationship with a Hindu girl would he have been beheaded by the people of his own community?
