Shahrukh becomes Deepak, grooms Hindu girl, drugs and pushes her into prostitution

Another case of grooming Jihad has come to light from the Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Two years ago a Muslim youth named Shahrukh introduced himself as Deepak to entice and trap a Hindu girl. He succeeded and two started a relationship.

According to media reports, the incident is from the Delhi Gate police station area of Aligarh. Two months ago, the accused took the victim on the pretext of a walk and left her in a house near Bhujpura. Once there, with the help of Shahrukh’s relatives, the victim was forcibly drugged and pushed into prostitution. She was beaten and burnt with cigarettes when she resisted.

The victim managed to escape from this imprisonment and approached a few Hindu youths she knew near Manik Chowk who took her to the police. In her statement to the police, the victim revealed her ordeal adding that the accused used to burn her feet with cigarettes for refusing prostitution. She was tortured throughout her time in captivity.

As soon as the information about the case of grooming Jihad became public, former Mayor Shakuntala Bharti reached the police station and asked the police to take immediate action. The station officer Raghavendra Singh said that action has been initiated against the accused and a case has been registered following a complaint filed by the victim’s mother. He has said that their efforts are to first arrest the accused who is on the run.

It is not clear whether the police has apprehended Shahrukh’s relatives who helped him in this grooming Jihad.
