“AAP’s Amanatullah Khan absconds after attacking police to free wanted criminal, police launches manhunt in Delhi and UP”, Opindia, February 12, 2025:

“AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan has absconded after attacking the police to free a Muslim criminal wanted in a case of attempted murder. The police have formed teams and launched a manhunt to arrest Amanatullah Khan. The police are conducting raids in Delhi and UP to apprehend the AAP MLA.

According to the FIR filed against him, the police were acting on a tip-off to arrest a wanted criminal, Shavez Khan. He was wanted in a case of attempted murder. The police got information that he was hiding in Jamia Nagar. When the police teams reached to apprehend him, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan reached the spot with 20-25 goons.

After that, he started arguing with the police and despite the police showing their IDs, Khan and his goons attacked the police. Subsequently, Khan and the mob fled with Shavez Khan. This attack against the police occurred on Monday, the 10th of February 2025……”
