Hindu girl murdered and hung from a tree by Muslim boyfriend and his family: Bihar

A Hindu girl, Pinky Kumari, was murdered and hung from a tree by her Muslim boyfriend and his family in Sehdullepur village, Gopalganj district of Bihar. Afsar Ali, his father Nasir Alam, mother Sonia Khatoon, and Ward member Naimul Haq have been arrested for the crime.

As per a report in Dainik Jagran, police recovered the girl’s mobile phone from Afsar Ali’s house. He had called the woman to his house and killed her. After the murder, the woman’s body was taken to a garden near the village and hung from a tree.

Sadar SDPO Naresh Paswan said that in connection with the complaint lodged over Pramod Yadav’s niece Pinky Kumari’s killing, the police with the help of technical cell arrested the girl’s boyfriend. During interrogation, Asfari Ali told about the missing mobile phone of the girl that was later recovered from his house.

This incident should serve as yet another warning to Hindu girls who knowingly get into relationships with Muslim youth. Often, the religious indoctrination that these youth receive in madrasas and from their conservative families results in them regarding non-Muslim women as dispensable commodities or targets for grooming, conversion and population jihad.

The incident also reveals the disturbing pattern of some Muslim parents and women members actively assisting their sons in such crimes. It should trigger much-needed introspection among Muslim society along the lines of that witnessed after the tragic Ayesha suicide case from Ahmedabad.
