April 23 was celebrated as Hanuman Jayanti across the country by Hindus. In Telangana, as reported in The Siasat Daily, Hindu organizations such as Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) were actively preparing for an extensive Hanuman Jayanti procession in Hyderabad/Bhagyanagaram. The procession, spanning a route of 12 kilometers, anticipated a massive turnout of over 10,000 participants.

Hyderabad’s Commissioner of Police, K Sreenivasa Reddy, emphasized the importance of maintaining peace during the celebrations, highlighting the city’s multicultural fabric and urging against any actions that could incite tension. BJP MLA T Raja Singh’s participation in the Dhoolpet procession adds to the event’s significance, showcasing widespread community engagement. As preparations intensified, stores in Begum Bazaar witnessed heightened activity, catering not only to local residents but also to visitors from neighboring districts.

Amidst this, it is alleged that police in Borabanda in Hyderabad/Bhagyanagaram took action by removing speakers from a Hanuman Temple during the Hanuman Jayanti festivities, leading to questions regarding the move’s legality and fairness.

Citizens raised concerns, referencing Supreme Court directives on noise pollution and regulations concerning mosque loudspeakers. Here is a list of judgements the courts have made with regard to use of loudspeakers in public places and at religious events.

In August 2016, the Bombay High Court delivered a verdict asserting that the use of loudspeakers did not constitute a fundamental right. The court emphasized that neither any religion nor sect could assert the right to employ loudspeakers or public address systems as a fundamental entitlement under Article 25 of the Indian Constitution.

On June 26, 2018, the Uttarakhand High Court established a restriction of five decibels for loudspeakers. The court instructed the state government that the utilization of loudspeakers, including during daytime hours, would be subject to the condition that the user assures that the noise level would not surpass five decibels.

In September 2018, the Karnataka High Court prohibited the use of loudspeakers after 10 pm. The court instructed that the standards outlined by the Supreme Court regarding acceptable sound levels must be adhered to when authorities enforce the ban on loudspeakers.

In July 2019, the Punjab and Haryana High Court implemented a ban on the use of loudspeakers in public areas, including religious institutions. The court stipulated that public address systems could only be operated with prior authorization, ensuring that the noise level never surpassed the permissible limit.

On May 15, 2020, the Allahabad High Court ruled that the call to prayer, known as the azaan, could only be recited by a muezzin from mosque minarets using human voice without amplification. The court stated that while the azaan is integral to Islam, using loudspeakers for its recitation does not qualify for protection under Article 25 of the Constitution, subject to public order, morality, and health.

In July 2020, the Uttarakhand High Court amended its previous order from June 2018, which had restricted noise levels to five decibels. This modification effectively allowed the use of loudspeakers in religious institutions in the state. The decision followed an application by the Jama Masjid of Bazpur seeking permission to use loudspeakers.

Moving to January 2021, the Karnataka High Court directed the state government to take action against illegal loudspeakers in religious places. Responding to a PIL petition filed by Girish Bharadwaj, the court instructed the government to issue immediate directives to law enforcement and pollution control authorities to curb the unauthorized use of amplifiers and loudspeakers.

In November 2021, the Karnataka High Court questioned the state government about the legality of allowing loudspeakers in mosques. Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi led a division bench hearing a petition by Girish Bharadwaj regarding sound pollution from mosques in Bengaluru. The petitioner sought effective implementation of laws regulating sound pollution.

Despite all these observations and judgements, police are always seen disrupting Hindu temples and festivities and staying away from other conspicuous settings.

On Monday (15 April 2024) in Jharkhand’s Girdih, a group of Islamist men attacked a young man named Neeraj. The attackers, including Akhtar Ansari, Armaan, Shahid, Waris, Afzal, and Aansuf Ansari, reportedly stabbed Neeraj because Akhtar was asking for Neeraj’s sister’s mobile number. The victim intervened when he heard about this and was stabbed by the group. He has been admitted to the hospital, and the police have arrested two attackers, including Arman while others are absconding.

The incident occurred in the Dhanwar police station area of Girdih district. In the village of Gorhand, a Hindu girl went to fill water from the dam around 5 pm on Monday. Akhtar Ansari, also from the same village, asked the girl for her mobile number, but she ignored him and went home. She narrated the entire incident to her brother Neeraj, who upon hearing his sister’s account, confronted Akhtar near the dam. An argument broke out, and when it escalated, people passing by intervened and separated them.

Later, Neeraj went near the dam again. Akhtar and his associates, Aansuf Ansari, Waris, Armaan, Afzal, and Shahid, were waiting there. They brutally beat the victim with an iron rod, injuring his head. Then, they stabbed him in the stomach and back before fleeing, leaving him injured.

Neeraj was admitted to a hospital in Girdih and later referred to Dhanbad due to the severity of his condition. Tension has risen in the village because the incident occurred between two communities, leading to the deployment of police forces. Nandu Kumar, the in-charge of Dhanwar police station, stated that two accused, including Armaan Ansari, have been arrested. Police are searching for the other accused.

AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal vows to reopen 700 Madrasas in Assam

0

All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal has revealed plans to reopen 750 madrasas in Assam following the Lok Sabha election victory.

Speaking to reporters in Assam’s Karimganj, Ajmal stated, “Absolutely, we will open 750 madrasas. The Uttar Pradesh government had announced to close madrasas, but the Supreme Court scolded them. On the basis of that reference, we will move to the Supreme Court and will bring the order. 750 Madrasas have closed in Assam and we will reopen those Madrasas through the Supreme Court, not through bullying.”

This decision comes as a response to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s closure or conversion of several madrasas into general schools during his tenure.

Ajmal emphasized that the madrasas would be reopened solely for educational purposes, stating, “Why did the government deprive lakhs of Muslim students to pursue education? Is it their right? Right to Education is our right. This is our right.” He clarified that the challenge would not be against the government directly but through legal means in the Supreme Court.

Ajmal, who is also contesting the election from the Dhubri Lok Sabha seat, rallied support for his party candidate Sabul Islam Chowdhury in Karimganj. AIUDF is contesting in three out of 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam.

“No ifs and Buts, No foreign court can stop us, illegal migrants will be deported from the country: UK PM Rishi Sunak”, Organiser, April 23, 2024:

“British PM Rishi Sunak’s latest efforts to send some migrants to Rwanda finally won approval from the UK Parliament early on April 23, 2024, hours after he pledged deportation flights would begin in July 2024.

The parliamentary logjam that had stalled the legislation for two months was finally broken when the unelected house of Lords recognized the primacy of the elected House of Commons and dropped the last of its proposed amendments clearing the way for the bill to become law.

Earlier, in the day, Sunak held a rare morning press conference to demand that the Lords stop blocking his key proposal for ending the tide of migrants crossing the English Channel in small boats promising that the both the houses of Parliament would remain in session until it was approved…..”

love jihad Abducted bajrang dal

A disturbing incident unfolded in Bidar, Karnataka, when a minor Hindu girl studying in the 9th grade found herself ensnared by the clutches of an Islamist stalker, Laik Ali. Based on the reports from Sanatan Prabhat, the Islamist perpetrator Ali lured the girl into a false sense of affection and then raped her, trapping her in a coercive relationship. The perpetrator threatened to harm her family and proceeded to rape her. He also took explicit photographs of her and used them as leverage, threatening to disseminate them on social media unless she complied with his demands. A case has been filed with the police in connection with these crimes.

Despite the escalating torment, the girl remained silent, hesitant to confide in her family about the ordeal she was enduring. It was only when the situation reached a critical juncture that a ray of hope emerged for the distressed girl. The vigilant intervention of Bajrang Dal activists, akin to superheroes in her dire moment of need, thwarted Ali’s nefarious intentions as he attempted to abduct her once again.

The Bajrang Dal members responded swiftly and rescued the minor girl from the clutches of her tormentor, ensuring her safety and delivering Ali into the hands of law enforcement authorities. Their timely intervention not only saved the girl from further harm but also served as a beacon of hope for the Hindu community.

The news went viral on different platforms of social media, sparking outrage among Hindus and Hindu activists. They raised their voices against the Islamist perpetrator, demanding justice for the victim. Some even went as far as suggesting harsh punishments in accordance with Sharia law, such as cutting off the perpetrator’s hands and feet or stoning them to death in a public square.

The resilience and bravery exhibited by the minor girl, coupled with the swift response of organizations like the Bajrang Dal, serve as a reminder of the collective responsibility to protect and uphold the rights of every individual. Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad have played an active role in safeguarding Hindus from horrific Islamist crimes. They have been instrumental in protecting Hindus in various instances across all parts of Bharat.

“Whitewashing Khalistanis, propaganda against Ram Mandir, lies about CAA: Meet Avani Dias, anti-India ‘journalist’ whose visa extension was temporarily denied by Modi govt”, Opindia, April 23, 2024:

“On Tuesday (23rd April), the South Asia Bureau Chief of the Australian Broadcasting Company (ABC) News, Avani Dias, took to X (formerly Twitter) to claim that she had to leave India abruptly due to the non-extension of her visa by the Modi government.

The controversial ‘journalist’ also alleged that the Indian government had plans to not allow her accreditation to cover the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Dias claimed that her visa was extended for a period of 2 months at the last minute, following which she went back to Australia.

She lamented returning to her home country just a day before the first phase of the elections. “Last week, I had to leave India abruptly. The Modi Government told me my visa extension would be denied, saying my reporting “crossed a line”. After Australian Government intervention, I got a mere two-month extension…less than 24 hours before my flight,” her tweet read…….”

Rashid Alvi backs Manmohan govt on ‘nation’s resources for Muslims’ call, bats for their upliftment

Congress leader Rashid Alvi on Tuesday defended the Manmohan Singh government’s stand on prioritising minorities, Muslims in particular, for receiving the benefits of development, saying there was nothing wrong in that approach.

Speaking exclusively with IANS on the controversy over wealth redistribution to minorities, Rashid Alvi said that unnecessary fuss is being created over the then Prime Minister’s remarks.

“The Manmohan Singh government always believed that people in the last line should have the first right to the nation’s resources. And, Indian Muslims are indeed the most backward community.” Alvi told IANS.

Notably, the BJP and the Congress are engaged in a face-off after Prime Minister Narendra Modi during an election rally on Sunday raked up Manmohan Singh’s statement made in 2006 that ‘minorities, Muslims in particular, should have the first right to the nation’s resources’.

The Congress called the speech ‘communal’ and even moved the Election Commission, while the BJP claimed that PM Modi’s speech was in response to Rahul Gandhi’s call for ‘wealth redistribution’ after the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

The Congress leader also underlined the need for bringing the ‘backward’ Muslim community at par with the mainstream, saying that unless such efforts are made, inclusive growth can never be achieved.

He also alleged that the BJP only respects the rich and powerful, and doesn’t care for the backward and unprivileged sections of the society.

When questioned who would be the Prime Minister after the Lok Sabha polls, he said that if the BJP wins the elections, Narendra Modi will surely continue to be the Prime Minister of the country.

Alvi, however, mocked the BJP over its ‘imaginary’ ‘400-paar’ target, claiming that even their own partymen don’t believe that the target could be achieved.

Meanwhile, CPM members turned to hooliganism in Pathanamthitta. They unleashed violence against a shop owner and her elderly relatives, who asked them to vacate the premises that they had been using without paying rent for years. Visuals showed a group led by the CPM area secretary beating up four people, including a woman.

The incident happened at Thengamam in Pathanamthitta. Shop owner Anita (39), her husband Latish (45), Latish’s father Sadasivan (78) and Anita’s father Ravi (69) were seriously injured. The victims complained that Thengamam CPM area secretary Anusi and party/ward members Vinesh and Dhinraj beat them up.

The shop was rented out by a CPM-run organization over three years ago. However, the institution closed during the Corona period and has not paid rent for years. After filing a complaint against this, but to no avail, Anita asked the CPM tenants to vacate.

With this, the assailants unleashed an attack on the owners. People, including the elderly, were brutally beaten. The CCTV footage of this has also come out.
